Foramen Magnum Meningioma : A Case Report

Abstract

Foramen magnum tumors are rare. It is difficult to diagnose because of bizarre clinical course.
We report a case of foramen magnum meningioma. A 32 year old man complained of quadriparesis without sensory change. The brain MRI disclosed foramen magnum compressing lower medulla and upper cervical cord. Suboccipital craniectomy and total
laminectomy
in the atlas and subtotal laminectomy in the axis was performed and then removed the mass, totally. The patients was improved ompletely.
